Step by step
- Export from beehiiv. Settings → Export Data → "Export All Subscribers" (full CSV with custom fields) and "Export All Posts". Download links expire after 24 hours (beehiiv help).
- Import into MailerLite: Subscribers → Add subscribers → upload the CSV and map fields (MailerLite help: migrate from Beehiiv).
- Recreate forms and landing pages (Forms and Sites tabs) and update the embeds on your website.
- Recreate templates and automations (Automation tab → New automation).
- Authenticate your domain before sending, then preview forms, send test emails and trigger each automation.
- Paid subscribers: MailerLite sells paid newsletters through your Stripe account on Comfort or Power. Its beehiiv guide doesn't cover moving existing paid subscriptions, so plan for readers to re-subscribe or ask MailerLite support first.
Gotchas
- MailerLite counts every subscriber active at any point in the billing cycle, even if deleted later — clean your list before importing.
- On Comfort, watch the monthly email cap if you send more than about 10 emails per subscriber per month.
- Only import subscribers who opted in.
